Apology Poem

I threw
The paper to
Your house

It crashed
And decapitated
Your snowman

I'm sorry,
But I was doing
My job

End
This was an English assignment that I had to write in school a few years ago. It's based off the original apology poem (but I don't remember who wrote it) and we had to create our own. This is based off a true event, but in the paperboy's point of view.
Ya' see, one winter day, my family and I heard a crash outside, and when we went to go see what had happen we were met with the sight of a soggy newspaper laying next our small, now decapitated snowman figurine. We knew it was an accident, but that didn't stop us from getting upset over poor aim from a paperboy. Plus, we had no idea who did it, so that was that.
So, just for giggles, I wrote this, told my English teacher how I wrote it, and got an A. I was very pleased about that :)
Thank you and make your bed for once!
